Highly Sensitive People (HSP)
HSP's (Highly Sensitive Person) - High sensitivity (also known as Sensory-Processing Sensitivity) is a trait that affects 15 to 20% of the population. Individuals with this personality trait experience "an increased sensitivity of the central nervous system and a deeper cognitive
processing of physical, social and emotional stimuli"(Boterberg, Sofie; Warreyn, Petra; 2016). In other words, you feel deeply and you have a stronger physical and psychological experience of daily life. You're not "too sensitive" and if cultivated with care, this can be a real superpower!
I support and educate my clients about what it means to be a sensitive individual in a not-so sensitive society.
I help HSP's cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves as well as tools for nurturing a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Think you may be HSP? Take the HSP Test!
Couples - I work with couples dedicated to the therapeutic process who are looking to develop effective and compassionate communication techniques to deepen their relationship.
Online therapy (Teletherapy) - I want to make therapy as accessible and convenient as possible so that you can get the support you need.
